Even though weather forcasted and overcast or rainy day, the rising sun made it clear that it was going to be great cruising weather!
Dan brought up his sweet '99 Cobra vert and Shane & Tim arrived in their decked out 3.8 droptop.
My pony was lookin' a little underdressed that day!
After a good hour of detailing and BSing we headed over to top off the tanks and get some munchies.
We were causing a lot of people to turn their heads.
One guy stopped and asked me a few questions about Dan's stang.
We then hit the road and followed a very scenic route through MA, VT & NH.
Spring Cruise Route
With a short stop at a parking area where we met Zach & Chris (who informed us regarding a radar trap around the corner) and shot the breeze for while.
We happily glided past the local officer hiding behind the big elm tree, just under the speed limit.
Thanks guys!
We had some awesome roads and very little traffic almost the whole way.
When we arrived at the Vermont Country Store on Rt103, we were greeted to a roped-off section for us to park and two more stangs!
Ron & his family and the VCS manager, Jeanette, were gracious hosts and we enjoyed ourselves immensely!
If you haven't been to the Vermont Country Store before, stop in sometime, and tell 'em the Roamin' Ponies said "Hi!"
It was almost 5 when we decided to head out for supper.
A nice ride down to Keene NH and a leisurly dinner at Chili's later, we found ourselves once again shootin' the breeze and checking out a sweet Shelby GT-500.
We all had a great time and I look forward to our next cruise with these folks!
