Roamin' Ponies Cruise #8
On Sunday, May 18th, 2008, 3 Mustangs from the Roamin' Ponies ran with the Blue Oval Mustang Club down in CT.
The route started at Ultimate Edge Performance in South Windsor CT and wound through the Connecticut countryside.
We stopped at Bowen's Garage in Eastford, CT and were blown away by the "Mustang Love" there!
Out front was a slick 1969 with a monstrous 408!
In the cramped showroom (the dealership started in the 1930's), were a pair of brand-new Mustangs.
A sweet GT-500 and a Bullitt.
The Mustang & Ford collectibles were everywhere!
In the back, a silver GT with a Kenne Bell blower sat waiting for more custom work.
Add to that almost a dozen Member mustangs and we were in Mustang Heaven!
Grandma Bowen was extremely friendly as she shared stories about the shop and her love of all-things Mustang.
After that, everyone rolled off to the Vanilla Bean Cafe for dinner and conversation.
